Yarn Bombing     Yarn Bomb

Calling all knitters, yarners, crocheters and anyone who enjoys creating with wool and yarn! Taking inspiration from Kings Langley Yarnbombing, we are going to yarn bomb The Old Town Hall for our Fun Palace on 6th October. We’d love an explosion of woollen creations both inside and outside the building to help brighten up The Old Town Hall and the High St.

So dust off your needles, dig out those bits of spare wool and let your imagination fly! It can be anything from bunting, pom poms, knitted creatures, flowers, finger knitting, woven creations –whatever you wish to create.  You can visit the building for inspiration or just use your imagination – we shall find a place for everything.

Drop off your creations before the day, bring them along to our Fun Palace or make poms poms on the day to hang.

NEW! Yarn Bomb Meet Ups

After such a wonderful reaction on social media to our yarn bombing post, we shall be teaming up with the Hemel Yarn Bomb Group and holding meet ups for anyone who would like to get together with others to make and create for both our Fun Palace and the poppy yarn bomb.

Meet ups will be held weekly in the run up to both events at The Old town Hall, starting Thursday 6th September, from 6pm - 7.30pm in our Gallery Bar.

Everyone is welcome, just come along or drop in! Please bring any wool or yarn you have spare and we'll also provide some to get people going - plus a cuppa of course!
