The Freedom of Information Act 2000 gives every citizen the right to request information from public sector organisations including Government, local authorities, the National Health Service, schools, the Police and the Fire Service.

We already make a lot of the information we hold available, either by publishing it on our website or by making it available for you to inspect.

Submitting a Freedom of Information request
Before you submit a Freedom of Information request, please check our “Information you can find on our website” section (below) or Common freedom of information requests page, as we might have already published it.
If you want to submit a request, please email firstname.lastname@example.org giving as much detail as possible about your request. We may contact you to clarify your request.
